Massage/Bodywork done by Vital Kneads is provided for the purpose of relaxation, stress reduction and/or relief of muscular tension. If the client experiences any pain or discomfort during the session, he/she must immediately inform the practitioner so that the pressure and/or strokes may be adjusted to his/her level of comfort. Massage/Bodywork should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. All clients should see a physician, chiropractor, or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment they are aware of. Massage therapists/body workers are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and nothing said in the course of a session should be construed as such. As Massage/Bodywork is contraindicated (should not be done) under certain medical conditions, clients must state all known medical conditions, and answer all questions honestly. Clients must agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in their medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner's part should client forget to do so. It must also be understood that any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made on the part of the client will result in the immediate termination of the session, and client will be liable for payment for the full scheduled appointment.
